So it's the day of the nephews 21st birthday party, and we had to set up at the Race Course... well I turned up a little too late, so thought I'd take a couple of photos of the last Autumn colours...

Got a haircut... needed a new pic... no one else around to do the honours - so selfies it is!

2012.02.21 Fiery Red Sunset

There was a fiery red sunset this night

Which cast the most beautiful light

So out came the camera to catch me a shot

as I watched it fade out of sight!

Sunset over Moffats 06.08.2009

Another full moon on the rise.... the last couple of days I have been leaving work & witnessing glorious sunsets, so I vowed that I would leave on time tonight & race up the hill to Moffats to capture this magic moment!!


Well, I made it!! And it was definately worth the effort. It even inspired this little ditty:

Moffat Beach Headland high up on the hill
The golden through the treetops emits a soothing chill
As the sun is setting a beautiful view unfolds
Another day is over, a new one to behold.
