2012.06.10 Blog Update

Now when was the last time I sent out a blog?  Have you missed me?  I must say I have been hibernating - and it is nice for a change!

Apart from a few events that have been happening of late, with the Sun sleeping in... so have I.  I find the Winter months a good time of year to catch up on the little things that tend to get neglected, to reflect on past time and events, and make improvements or changes where necessary.  It is a good time for soul cleansing and also to get in and de-clutter (house, office, wardrobe, garage...) whatever makes you feel better.

De-cluttering is a good habit to get into, as by giving away un-needed items, it makes way for you to receive.

And as for my posts, through Winter you will most likely only see my blog update Emails on a monthly basis (but you can always check my blog sporadically for any updates I may have added.

But enough of my jibber... below are a few images of what I have managed to capture in the past month, and also the the links to each event - or you can just go straight to my blog to see it all!  Some of you may have seen these updates on my facebook page (if not you can 'LIKE' my facebook page here),

Just click on the links at the to of each picture to view that blog posting.

2012.05.28 Roadtrip - Sunset between Moree & Goondiwindi NSW

I love being able to witness the sunrise or sunset when on a road trip... you get to witness so many different aspects as the light comes or goes, and even though these pics have to be taken through the car window travelling 100kmph (no, my husband stops for no-one)...  here are a few of what I captured on the stretch between Moree & Goondiwindi...

I love zooming in on sunset colours, as it then sets a different scene...

trees on the horizon line...

on the other side of the car a different scene was being painted... clouds, rainbows
and the look of a shower or two.

clouds lit up by the setting sun...

back to the silhouettes..

a windmill on the horizon...

zooming in on the windmill...

the light has almost faded... as night envelops the sky

Boggabilla Servo...

The night lights of Goondiwindi!

Time now to rest our weary heads, tomorrow another day!

2012.05.28 turning 14 & Road trip to Home

Well it was now time to head back home on the long road between Trangie and the Sunshine Coast.... but being my eldest boys 14th birthday, it was a Birthday Cake with candles for morning tea (courtesy of Nan), before jumping in the car just before lunch for 5 hours to get to Goondiwindi where we were spending the night... yes, had to stop so Jeff could watch his beloved Bulldogs (Monday night football) and I was wanting to watch 'The Voice' & 'Revenge', so to the Pub it was...

Alex about to blow out 14 candles...
